These Terms of Service apply to your use of ScrollGuard. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Introduction
ScrollGuard helps you reduce distracting elements inside supported web browsers. By downloading or using ScrollGuard, you accept these Terms of Service.
2. App Services
2.1 Free Version
- Ability to apply a limited number of filters. A filter is one blocking rule you configure.
- Basic blocking features.
2.2 Pro Version
- Ability to block unlimited filters.
- Access to all current and future blocking options.
2.3 Pricing and Payments
- Pro is available through in-app purchase as a subscription.
- You can choose between a monthly subscription or an annual subscription.
- All prices are shown in your local currency.
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
- For plans that include a trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Payment will be charged automatically when the trial ends.
- Payment is charged to your App Store account after you confirm the purchase or at the end of any trial period.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
- If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period.
3. User Rights and Responsibilities
3.1 Eligibility
- ScrollGuard is available to users of all ages.
- Users under 13 must have parent or guardian consent.
- You are responsible for using the app in a lawful and safe way.
3.2 Acceptable Use
- Try not to bypass or interfere with ScrollGuard’s blocking system.
- Do not use ScrollGuard for illegal activity.
- Do not reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to modify the app.
4. Changes to the Service
- Add, modify, or remove features.
- Update subscription prices.
- Update these terms. Significant changes may be announced inside the app.
5. Limitation of Liability
- ScrollGuard is provided "as is".
- We are not responsible for issues caused by blocked or unblocked content.
- Browser or platform limitations that affect blocking.
- Inaccurate behaviour caused by changes in third party apps.
- Service interruptions.
- We do not guarantee that all distracting content will be blocked at all times; websites and social media platforms change frequently, and some elements may stop being blocked until we update our rules.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms or misuse the app. You may stop using the app at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
