ScrollGuard is designed to help you control distracting content, not collect your personal data. This policy explains what we do, and don't do, with your information.
1. Data We Store
- Your blocking preferences, meaning the elements you choose to hide, are stored only on your device.
- We do not store these preferences on our servers.
2. Browsing History and Content
- ScrollGuard does not have access to your browsing history.
- ScrollGuard does not read, store, or transmit the content of the websites you visit.
3. Analytics and Crash Reports
We use third party tools, for example Sentry, Firebase, or similar services, to collect:
- Anonymous usage data, for example which features are used most.
- Anonymous crash reports, to fix bugs and improve stability.
- Anonymous information you provide during onboarding, for example your setup choices, kept anonymous and not linked to you personally.
This data does not identify you personally.
4. Third Parties
Other than the anonymous analytics and crash reporting mentioned above, we do not share personal data with third parties because we do not collect personal data.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you in the app.
